Chair of committee
Councillor Seosamh Ó Cuaig has been appointed Chairman of the Roads and Transportation Committee of Galway Co Council. The Roads committee is one of five Strategic Policy Committees in the County Council and its role is to guide the general policy in the provision of road infarastructure. The committee comprises nine members - 6 County Councillors and three more representative from various interests groups.
