Councillor Seosamh Ó Cuaig has made an arrangement with Galway County Council that refuse and rubbish bins will be placed at Moyrus crossroads - close to "Tigh Christy." People who live in along the Dubhithir road can use these bins. But the arrangement depends on some person, or persons, being willing to hold the key to the bins and make arrangements locally. The refuse lorry does not go into the townland road in Dubhither and this haas been causing problems with the rubbish.
